Time really does flies. I left my lovely hometown to further my studies in the United States of America for a month and a few days since then. I first appreciate that family's support in allowing me to further my studies abroad especially my father and my mother for this eye opening experience and thank you my awesome friends who turned up for the farewells and gatherings, sending me off at the airport, and even wished me.
The second farewell, or you call it a gathering, was held in a famous marina mall in Penang Island. They are my high school buddies who I had my farewell together with before chilling out in a pub in the same mall. The farewell was incredibly joyful when it comes to a set of 3 or 4 drinking games where most of the time, the games are testing your reflexes and the collaboration of your mind and body. All of us had an awesome night playing the game and chitchatting, it was really a blast!
One of the family farewell held in a recently commenced restaurant serving the delicious Italian spaghetti, pizzas, and so on in a soon-to-be shopping mall in Gurney Drive. Oh, how I miss spending time with my family enjoying delectable foods!
Some of you guys might be wondering
"What about the first farewell?!". It was a real repentant that we did not manage to take any photos that night but I was really delighted to have my farewell with you guys. Fellow course mates, You know who you are and please do not blame the jam in the mall's car park because we will somehow meet again!
The day of departure, it was a really hard for me to leave my lovely family, friends, and hometown behind. I hate looking at my parents whose eyes were covered with tears.
Let me promise you, father and mother, I will be a better person than yesterday, stronger than who I was, and lastly I will not forget who and what I am! But looking at the other way, instead of feeling sad and emotional, I was eager to see what are the next chapter of my life in the United States going to bring me.
I appreciate all the moments back there and I will be seeing you all again!
