Late Night Tuesday Hang Out

Tuesday, met up with my friends, Jack and Raymond for a movie in Queensbay at night. Raymond who came back from University of Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kampar for his holidays. We watched Season of the Witch. The story line is great! At first you will believe that the lady is a witch as the villagers in the movie called her but at the end, it turns out to be something else you did not expect it will.
My rating of 8/10 stars to Season of the Witch.

We met up our ex schoolmate, Herh at Seri Pantai Ikan Bakar near to a beach. We had a nice talk that night about stuffs and beyond together with the cheap and delicious mushroom soup I ordered as supper.

The mushroom soup served with mushrooms, squid, some vegetables, and of course - chillies.
Tastes good but a little bit spicy.

Had a great conversations that night. It is rare to meet someone that has the peer of thoughts and knowledge.

DSC00800
We played poker without any bets that night. The most joyful moment where and when you eat and play together at once. These games still confuse me in a way although I had play quite numerous times, just can't seems to understand it very well.
As long as it brought up the atmosphere of the dinner, such games are really good a entertainment to all.

New Headset

In conjunction with the starting of the second semester, getting a better headset as the purpose of getting myself focus into books in the library is necessary. Sennheiser PX-100 II was the awesome headset with its foldable open stereo that allows me to carry with an ease.

DSC00941(1)
It is the second generation of PX-100 no difference with the first despite the packaging.

It is foldable from the left to the right as shown.

I love the stereos at which its bass is just perfect and in addition, if you do not mind people around you might be able to listen what songs are you listening, you might as well as getting one.
Frankly, there is no "privacy" especially in the library.

Khoo's Dinner-After

Appreciate Alex's invitation to Khoo's dinner on 19th December, a Saturday evening at Copthorne Hotel which is located next to The Cove in Tanjung Tokong. It was an awesome night, thank you once again to Alex's parents.
The dinner was about 3-4 hours before it ended. Alex, Gavin, and I went to Straits Quay after the dinner.
Walking around in the Straits Quay near to the 12 in the clock is kinda awesome.

Frankly, discovering the ghost-like photos were just an accident. After spending a few moments, I managed to find out how I took the photos with my H-50 that night.
So, the ghostly photos throughout the decades that are still sharing through the internet that includes those famous photos as well, are they real? Or they are taken just to create fame?

These are the ghostly photos taken accidentally that night.
Hint to photographers : Slow shutter with Flash on a backlight background. Figure out the rest, cheers!
Hmm.. Is that my soul or my body?

Oil Palm Visitation

What does oil palms contribute towards the human daily consumptions? Renewable energy, fuel, biodegradable products, soaps, edible vegetable oils and so on are made up or produced by using oil palm fruits.
Malaysia was the world's largest producer of 51% oil palms production in 1995.

Oil palm fruits will be cut and collected after they are fully grown as shown above which are almost yellowish-orange in color.

DSC00603
Who says farming is not eco-friendly? Bones of small animals especially rats can be found under the oil palms or bird houses made by human hands. It controls the populations of pests biologically.

Blue capped Kingfisher was spotted on a brunch of an oil palm a few meters away from the track.

The surrounding temperature in oil palm is very cooling at night. It was fun and relaxing spending a couple of nights in rural area, experiencing the rural life without internet or computer all day long.
Rural areas can be the best place to retire though!

Penang's Youth Park 30/11/10

Waking up early in the morning for exercising is fun especially when you are going for hiking. It was a Tuesday morning, a beautiful morning after a land-wash, I went hiking with Nicholas. Enjoyed the chilling temperature that morning while hiking towards 3rd Station.

Due to the rain in the night before our hiking, the partial scenery of Penang was a little bit foggy. It was a really enjoyable hike with such a cooling temperature on the way up towards the 3rd Station of Youth Park Hill. We had Chee Cheong Fan and Char Koay Kak as our breakfast at Macalister Road after that.
It was a great morning!

Once A Switcher

With a blink of an eye, that was almost a year working in Switch as a sales crew.
Appreciate the opportunity given to work as a part timer in Switch where I was able to improve my speaking skills especially in English and numerous extraordinary experience dealing with the public while working.
Fun moments with colleagues will not be forgotten while working in both Gurney's and Queensbay's Switch. Flashbacks :

First Visit to Straights Quay

Before stepping in into Strait Quay for the first time, my parents and I went to Sunshine Bay for our seafood dinner located in Tanjung Bungah. It was quite some time after having my last seafood dinner especially fried crabs, which is my favorite.

Crabs and Prawns were fried and served on the table as our dinner. Satay was ordered as our side dish.

Straits Quay
is a very nice structure and its mall, targeting wealthy families with various kinds of restaurants like Blue Reef, Fennegan's Irish Pub and Restaurant, DOME, and so on at the moment. There is a light house constructed for the marina bay at where and when the marina bay is being constructed. It is a location where some of the Penangites will celebrate and countdown for Christmas and New Year.

San Jose & San Francisco

After our trip to Las Vegas and Los Angeles, we travelled around San Jose State and San Francisco. San Francisco is a very beautiful city where you are able to see 45˚ roads going up or down the hills. San Francisco is indeed one of my favorite city in the United States. The interesting place is Pier 39, a place where you can see wild sea lions.
Photos compilation of San Jose and San Francisco trip :

Besides, in America, there were luxury/sports cars on the road like Mustang, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari and so on. Frankly, I had seen more Porsche than Ferraris over there. Well despite the brand names of the cars, ironically the cost of these luxury is surprisingly cheaper than here. If you have the money, would you buy one of these cars here or other desired stuffs? Well, I will get other better stuffs of coarse.

End of United States' posts.

Disneyland Los Angeles

One of the hot spot to visit while you are there in Los Angeles is the Disneyland. It was enjoyable trip with my family especially the moment we sat a kid's water roller coaster where both my father and my brother together with his girlfriend shouted badly going straight down from the highest point.
Here is the photos compilation on my trip to Disneyland Los Angeles.

The video clip of fireworks in Disneyland. The video ends before the fireworks ended because I accidentally pressed the record button without being noticed but anyway hope you guys enjoy the video clip of the fireworks. Cheers!

San Francisco/San Jose photos compilation coming up next posts.

Los Angeles

Photos compilation of Los Angeles Trip in June 2010, summer. The most attractive of all visited locations is the Griffith Park and the Universal Studio. For the foods, I prefer the Chinese restaurant where we had our lobsters. The lobsters served were so delicious!
